All Star Basketball Code of Conduct, Waiver, & Release
By participating at an All Star Basketball practice, class, camp, or event, I agree to the following:
CODE OF CONDUCT FOR PLAYERS, PARENTS, & SPECTATORS
INTRODUCTION
All Star Basketball is committed to providing a positive and supportive environment for all players to learn and enjoy the game of basketball. This Code of Conduct outlines the expectations for parents and players to ensure a respectful and sportsmanlike atmosphere at all times.
PLAYER CODE OF CONDUCT
As a player at All Star Basketball, I agree to:

Show respect for my coaches, teammates, opponents, and officials.

Listen to and follow the instructions of my coaches.

Practice good sportsmanship, win or lose.
-
Play fairly and to the best of my ability.
-
Respect the rules of the game.
-
Refrain from using inappropriate language or gestures.
-
Never engage in any form of bullying or harassment.
-
Be a positive representative of All Star Basketball both on and off the court.
PARENT CODE OF CONDUCT
As a parent of an All Star Basketball player, I agree to:

Encourage my child to play fairly and to the best of their ability.

Support the coaches and their decisions.
-
Show respect for the coaches, players, officials, and other parents.

Refrain from coaching from the sidelines.
-
Avoid negative or abusive language directed at players, coaches, or officials.

Teach my child to respect opponents and officials.
-
Be a positive role model for my child and other players.
-
Respect the rules of the game and the decisions of the officials.
-
Focus on the positive aspects of the game and my child's performance.
-
Address any concerns or issues with the coach privately and respectfully.
-
Understand that playing time is earned and determined by the coach.

Help create a positive and supportive environment for all players.

Refrain from the use of any alcohol or drugs at any All Star Basketball events.

Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in the following consequences:

Verbal warning

Suspension from games or practices

Removal from the All Star Basketball program
AGREEMENT
By participating in All Star Basketball, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to abide by this Code of Conduct.
WAIVER & RELEASE
By registering with All Star Basketball (any type of membership or camp) you are agreeing to the following waiver & release of liability. I, the parent/guardian/ participant, in registering with All Star Basketball League a division of Stretch-n-Grow of the RGV, LLC, understands that he/she/I in attending the events for All Star Basketball League and using the facilities does so at his/her/my own risk. I acknowledge that I am aware of the risks inherent in participating in basketball; both practice and competition; that basketball is a physical sport which can require, considerable running and physical exertion; and could potentially lead to body harm or limb injuries and even death. Participants and parents assume full responsibility for all injuries and damages which may occur in or at any of All Star Basketball League events. He/she/I do or does hereby fully and forever release, discharge and hold harmless Stretch-n-Grow of the RGV, All Star Basketball League, Angali LLC, and any partner schools' organizers, owners, employees, sponsors, and agents from any and all claims, demands, damages, rights of action, property loss, present or future resulting from or arising out of any person’s participation. In addition, he/she/I agree(s) to follow rules of play and conduct set by All Star Basketball League and the gym site(s). He/she/I understand(s) that failure to do so my result in suspension from participation. Keep a youth sports environment for the children that is free from drugs, tobacco, and alcohol and must refrain from their use at all Basketball events. I agree with the Code Parent, Player, & Spectator of Conduct for Players and Parents and will abide by the rules. I understand All Star Basketball Officials have the right to remove my child from a team and or league for failure to abide by the rules. Also, I agree that All Star Basketball Officials have the right to remove a parent from a game if the rules are broken. In addition, I/we authorize emergency first aid care to be administered to my child/ward by All Star Basketball in the event he/she becomes injured or ill during, before, or after any instructional programs, incidental sponsored activities, or team workouts, either on or off the All Star Basketball's premises. If the parent(s) and/or guardian(s) of the child are not immediately available at the telephone numbers provided in this agreement, I/we further authorize All Star Basketball, the school, or such agents as she may authorize, to retain the services of a doctor or other competent medical person in order to treat my child/ward. I/we do warrant All Star Basketball that the child herewith enrolled is physically and emotionally capable of motion exploration activities and is only limited as set out in the medical notes provided by us shown on this agreement. The school recommends that a complete physical examination be undertaken for the student before these activities.
All Star Basketball reserves the right to cancel any membership at any time.
Participation in an All Star Basketball event requires acceptance of the following. Should you withdraw and return at a later date, the following waiver and releases remain applicable during your absence and continue upon your return. Scroll to the bottom to sign.
